What is the difference between hiv blood in a needle that can infect another and hiv blood tied?
in a bag of chips tied with rubberband tightly.can the virus survive in the bag if someone with hiv with bleeding finger left blood on the chips n immediately tie up with rubber band.blood in needle is also trapped and can infect another, can the blood in the tied bag of chips survive also to infect another?

I believe no, because there would be enough oxygen in the bag and the virus dies quickly after being exposed to air, while blood in a syringe is air tight and even then i’m not sure how long the virus lasts, I think I might look it up.
